Baby Stats as of 3/31/2009

A quick baby update as we had our ultrasound yesterday. We were hoping to find out if baby is a baby girl or baby boy - - However, Baby is either modest or stubborn and kept her or his legs crossed. Silly baby! I had all these grand plans to paint this weekend too - the plan was lime green and pink for a girl, and lime green/chocolate for a boy. I suppose we can wait, but my patience is never great.

We will get to check again on April 14, so hope that we can tell then! Baby measured well (Ultrasound at 20 weeks, 3 weeks, baby measured at 20 weeks 2 days) so due date still stands at August 14. Plenty of fluid around the baby, all limbs are there, and everything else looks good according to the dr. Starting to feel baby kicks too - how fun.

New Crib!

Our CRIB! Tonight Chris and I bought our crib, which you can see a picture of above. It is called the Larkin Sleigh Bed Crib, and it also converts to a toddler bed, which is nice. Just thought you might want to see our crib. Didn't post a picture of the dresser, put I promise there will be a dresser too!

And here is a picture of baby's cradle, which we will use for the first 3-6 months.

Baby Stats as of 3/15/2009

Your very first picture of Baby! This was taken when I was at 12 weeks. As you can see, Baby has eyes, nose, mouth, and even arms and legs! What a pretty baby (or so we think) So here are the details you may want to know:

When: Due August 14th
What: We will find out March 30
Updates: I (Talia) have been sick most the pregnancy so far (wahoo!) Not getting physically sick as much now, but baby really likes to let us know she or he is here! We have gone to the doctor at 11 weeks, ultrasound one at 12 weeks, back to the dr at 15 weeks (with a brief ultrasound) and will be back at doctor at 19 weeks with ultrasound at 20.5 weeks.
Heart: First ultrasound Baby's heartbeat was 174, second ultrasound baby's heartbeat was 156
Stuff: Already baby has gotten gifts - clothes and a cradle, to be exact!

We are very excited to welcome baby in warm August. Will leave you tonight with a picture of Buttercup and I typing this blog.
