So there you have it - - the only preggo picture most likely that will make an appearance on this blog. Hope you are happy! This was taken at 3M's corporate retreat center and I was 31 weeks pregnant. I believe I was sitting by the lake/golf driving range.
In other news, it has been a while since I have posted - sorry about that! Things have been busy as we prepare for baby boy to arrive. The nursery is getting filled with stuff, the bedding should be here soon, and we have picked out artwork (see picture below - NOTE - these are not his actual artwork, and no, his name will NOT be Lindsay!!!). We will order two of these, with his first name and middle name (or first and last name) on the print. As you can guess from the pictures, we are going with a little bit of an alphabet theme. Wall letters with his name, blocks, and cute alphabet prints galore!
Doctor's visits are more frequent now, and we are going every week. Now that it is less than a month from my due date, Chris is encouraging me to pack my bags - AHHHH! We also had a couple really nice showers. My friends Meeghan and Dawn threw a friend shower for me (see picture of the diaper cake Meeghan made below), and my friend Jen had a work shower with my old colleagues from CLA. My current work is having a lunch soon, and Chris' family is having a family shower in a few weeks as well. It is sooo nice of everyone!
Hmm, other things to tell you - - we bought our newborn cloth diapers (Kissaluv Size 0), and are ready to increase our cloth diaper stash soon! We also finished baby prep class, complete with a hospital tour and lessons on swaddling. Not much else to report on the baby front. Buttercup is doing well (of course). Here is a picture of her from the doggy park 4th of July weekend. She sends her love to all!
